Collect
Lord Jesus,
As we your people struggle for power,
To sit on either your right or your left.
Draw us together,
To seek your will and not our positions,
To serve rather than be served.
Guide us as we seek to follow you,
To drink the cup that we are offered,
To receive the baptism painful as it may be,
Bless us and guide us in your Son’s Name.
Amen.
