Collects
Dear Lord,
Your Spirit gives us new life and new hope
Thank you for all things good in the world
Thank you for the gift of life
Thank you for air to breathe, and a soul to keep us alive
Thank you for the opportunity to live and grow and play here,
And to discover the world in peace
Thank you Lord for my eyes to see all of your wonderful creations,
Thank you for giving me taste to taste all of your beautiful food
Thank you for giving me the sense of smell to smell beautiful flowers
Thank you for hearing to hear all the bids happily singing in the trees
Because it’s by your Spirit that we know the truth,
God is good!
Amen
Maori
E te Atua,
Kei a koe te mana, te tapu, te tika, me te pono.
Kei a koe te aroha, te kaha, te manaakitanga.
Kei a koe te mauri, te ora, te wairua.
Homai ki a matou nga homaitanga pai,
Kia ora ai matou nga tamariki
I roto i to Wairua Tapu
Amine.
