Collects
Jesus, our present help,
Thank you for the precious gift of mothers,
For the comfort and assurance they bring us.
May we honour, respect and treasure them.
Be a mother to those that need one,
And surround them with your loving arms.
Like our mothers,
May we give ourselves to prayer,
Be uncompromising believers,
Minister healing to those around us,
And be people who will rise up to the challenges of today,
Amen.
